Funk Laced & Lyrically Superior Em Jay lays out the lifestyle of the "Coon Dog" building off the title track from his 1st Project ("Dat Funky Hood Sh!t") with superior story telling and artfully crafted punchlines with subtle word play.

Production by Shadow Black, GMAN & La-Lo of InsanAsylum Productions with additional production by Z.I.T.B. of Four Korners this album is one that you can put in the deck and let it ride till the end.

This is Em Jay's first release on InsanAsylum Recordings after moving to the label during the creation of the classic mix-tape "Whatchu Talkin' Bout? VOL. I".

"Focus" drops you immediately in the hot fish grease through La-Lo's production telling you to get your life right, on track and to handle your biz. "8 Tre Caddy"' pays homage to the slab life of the Dirty South. "Any Nigga" is a lyrical montage of braggadocio inherit in any MC ~ step and get wrecked! "Push"' is a true Hip Hop anthem sure to get you in the mind-state of pushing through obstacles of the daily routine. "Ain't No Way" serves notice that there is no limit to getting it in and reaching the top. "Let's Get Krunk" is a club thug banger inciting a riot type joint which chronicles his exploits with Mr. Get Down when they were targeted by bullets. "No Time Fo' Trippin'" is a story about how he handles the females and is accompanied by one hell of a catchy chorus. "Break U Off" lets you know what he aims to do to you ladies that are fortunate enough to be in his presence during intimate times. During "Real Bitches" he defines them by painting the story of some females he's encountered in his lifetime. 'How It Is" pays homage to the lifestyle of the Gangsta/Thug and truly is a song about loyalty backed by a thick heavy funk laced bass line. "Dedication" is an open letter to the father he never knew and is laced with an impassioned hook which is so true, to the point that it evokes you to rewind...that is if you've never had a Dad in your life. "Throwin It Up" is the quintessential party jam...turn it up Hip Hop style...

Overall this project is about the life of the ole Coon...started in the bowels of The Boot in Lake Charles then the Eastside of Houston with a stint in Southpark then moving up in the world experiencing different things while staying true to his Southern Roots. When you get tired of that Trap Life & the lies plus fantasies these other Rappers and so called Hip Hop artist inundate the airwaves & social media with then pop this into your mental gas tank...the needle will hit full tank and stay there until you listen to those others draining your tank.
